Joy Crown iodine non-adherent dressings are designed to provide exceptional functionality and skin-friendly aspects. It is a primary dressing designed for the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and exuding, infected wounds. Highly effective in preventing infections when used in conjunction with systemic antibiotics.
Our iodine gauze dressing provides an effective release of iodine, targeting a broad spectrum of bacteria, protozoa, and fungi. With no reported cases of acquired resistance, Povidone Iodine is considered one of the most effective bactericides available for human use.
Material: Made from 100% cotton, open-mesh leno weave impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% Povidone Iodine; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine.
Size: Available in sizes such as 5cm x 5cm and 9.5(10)cm x 9.5(10)cm, catering to different wound dimensions.
The gauze has interlocking threads that minimize fraying when the dressing is cut to shape, reducing pain and trauma during dressing changes.
The topical wound dressing is impregnated with an ointment containing 10% povidone-iodine, providing a sustained release of iodine for effective infection management.
